The 1st supra-regional innovation hackathon on coastal and marine protection took place from September 13-17, 2021 during the Digital Week under the patronage of GEOMAR Director Prof. Dr. Katja Matthes.

Coordinated by the Transfer Center for Maritime Technologies S-H, the hybrid event was carried out with eight project partners. The special feature: the challenges were set by maritime companies, so that the solution concepts could be the starting point for concrete projects and new innovations.
